I’ve been known to make #potions for a variety of reasons. Usually #protection, #creativity inspiration, & #divination.
#Holywater is such a #sacred gift and to quote an amazing #artist (Michael Franti and spearhead) ‘every drop of water is some holy water’ (song reference) but also there are literally ways to make holy water. I learned in #witchcraft school.
I always believed that holy water had to do with churches because the only reference I had to it, was that. Over my #life I had many books on witchcraft that helped me turn my #intuitive practice into a learned practice. When I studied with a witchcraft school from 2016 September to 2022 September I was incredibly into my practice and loved the path. Very much. I was kicked out when I mentioned Allah as the sphere of #tiphareth during witchcraft 4, 1/2 way through my fourth year. I was devastated. I really believed that if it had been in person, I wouldn’t have been misunderstood. There is no amount of explaining that change another’s mind,
So it doesn’t matter much now. I had my #Sufi group still, at the time, so I went with the flow.
Holy water.
In 2013 I invited a neighbor into my space, she wanted to be my friend, I had mixed energy about it. When we were over at my witchcraft altar and bookshelf, I started getting a bad feeling about her, one of my #books opened up to the page of ‘Holy Water’ as if giving me a warning. PROTECT yourself! That woman ended up being really bad for my life. In major ways! Magick is one of the BEST ways to protect yourself!!! Later in life; I made my first holy water potion. Yes, potion. After all, what better way is there to describe such a sacred water?? It’s #Magick!
I use it whenever I feel called to. It gives that added element of necessary protection. I am much stronger now #spiritually than ever before. It comes after years and years of life and focused practice. Well over a decade now.
Other potions. When I made my own #perfumes, #lotions, shampoos, and skincare products, I thought of it as a potions too. I loved checking the #sun and #moon phases of when I was making these items. Right now; I am almost out of my dark moon potion. It is also a type of protective potion, but it works in a different way. I kept track of the sun and moon phase it was made, as well as how it made me feel to wear. That’s how you test a potion. You experiment. You wear it, you see if it makes a difference. What was its intention? As a creative person, I often would find my creative flow easily, just by being consistent. However, if there is a day that I am lacking, I have my #creativity potion, made in a creative phase of life and proper sun and moon alignment (though a proper #alchemist knows that we can transmute the time, to fit our needs). It has been a beneficial potion to use.
Upcoming to make my dark moon potion again, I will make sure to track the #energy going into it and also, how it makes me feel.
When it comes to body and hair care, it’s all about making it when you are feeling #beautiful. When you feel good about life and the future. When you can look in the #mirror and point out Atleast three things you love about yourself, yes, your appearance!
Isn’t making a daily #herb #tea, incredibly Magickal? The quality and Magickal properties of the loose herb, the part of the body that it’s aiming to #heal and protect, the natural alchemy taking place in your force and form.
Holy water.
Blessing water and prayers to water is my nature.
If I was to be given that same ‘warning’ from spirit now, I would have listened. If done, my
Life right now would be Atleast 10x better. That’s how much chaos this woman caused in my life! I rarely have received such a clear sign from my guides. Ironically, I let her borrow so many books, never were they returned. I repurchased them.
(This is before I had to give away over half my belongings and leave on foot in 2023) this woman hasn’t been in my life since 2015/2016 & yet, what she caused still has negatively impacted my life.
Is Holy water the answer or solution?
Maybe?
I don’t know.
I will have to keep tracking its use and progress.
One great thing about divine protection is that when it’s working, nothing is happening, so you may not notice until later.
I believe that giving thanks to all
Water is an important regular practice to have. Communing with the land and water #spirits and thanking them. Prayers to water. It is all incredibly important. The water that is in our bodies, the water that is in the land. We are blessed here still, where I live. How much longer??? Will all of our land and waterways be successfully taken over by those who seek to deplete it? By those who see profit for their pockets and not life force for the land?
I often wondered over this 5 year time period if all that oil extraction, is what has caused land to dry out over time. Think about what would happen to our body or our skin, if all the oils were drawn out…..why wouldn’t the land act the same?
So who in the world is going to monitor all the grown men who desire to deplete the World’s resources, all so that they can live a lifestyle they desire, knowing full well the damage they do to the planet & their own descendants future?!
Oh, that’s right; they are the ones who believe they can build a spaceship and fly away. Landing on another planet……:::
I pray they never do.
I pray everything in the universe destroys them, before that can happen.
Isn’t it a more #logical solution to #evolution to both save the earth and work towards connecting to the #universe?
What if doing so was already done on this earth?
What if it was so much simpler than others are made to believe?
Then we could actually help our planet. Instead of watch it be slowly killed (though rapid now) before our eyes. And why? Because the people who ‘rule the earth’ decided not to think about the future???
How haram.
It wouldn’t take very long for the right people to make change that was noticeable and beneficial.
Potions.
Holy water.
Earth.
Sky.
Magick.
