Being almost 38 gives much perspective on life and also on who you are as an individual.

Aging, for me, has allowed me to stop being so critical of myself and my capabilities/talents/gifts.

I have always loved painting and the many of the hobbies I have.

When I was young painting animals, insects and other creatures gave me joy. ????

It’s a way to focus my energy, feel productive (as a crippled woman now I have to find ‘new’ ways to feel I’ve accomplished something)and painting things I adore, brings me happiness.

I tend to  judge my work on people and landscapes too harshly, aiming instead to convey my spiritual experiences on canvas and paint daily as an exercise in discipline; keeping important hemispheres of the brain activated and continuing to recharge new neural pathways in the brain, as well as re-carve older established pathways.

Setting to accomplish a task, even if it is something seen as minor to the World, but for you, it may be that daily task that is predictable, brings a sense of stability and accomplishment, no matter how small.

????????️????????

Just keep painting.
