????️????Painting animals is always enjoyable for me. Something that usually lifts my mood.
Being a spinal cord injured woman that is ambulatory, has changed what my days are like. ????
Being able to find time every day for my art, is definitely a focus for me.
It is my accomplishment.
When I was beginning to do an art piece every day, I limited the time spent as an exercise, to remove the judgement from my own artwork.
It helped me appreciate what I ‘could’ do as an artist and also is a testament to what kind of results come with regular practice.
We all will have good days, but for me, painting animals of all kinds has been a happy experience.
I found I was less critical then when I was painting my ‘meditation pieces’ or portraits in general. I used to do mainly portraits in my 20s.
I’ve been painting this week some of the available animals for adoptio at the local shelter. My personal favorite one too.
